How will this event help me?
From 1 July 2024, in some adult care services, we will assess and report on service’s self-evaluation of the core assurances during our usual inspections. This workshop will help you develop some practical skills in self-evaluation as well as hearing more about our approach to validating self-evaluation. There will also be an opportunity to network and share your experience of self-evaluation with other people working in adult care services.
We know that the core assurances are a key driver to good outcomes and minimising the risk of poor outcomes, which is why we examine these at every inspection. A list of the core assurances can be found in the quality framework for your service type. You can find support, guidance and templates for self-evaluation in our toolkits.
What if I can’t make it or don’t get a place?
We are also holding an online webinar about self-evaluation in adult care services on Thursday 9 May. You can book a place on this event here.
