Human rights are integral to all our lives and form the basis of the Health and Social Care Standards. This interactive session will look in more detail at the human rights considerations around meaningful connection for people in care homes. The webinar will discuss the Health and Social Care Standards, including the two new standards introduced to support connection during an infectious disease outbreak. We will explore how people's rights can be respected and promoted, supporting better outcomes for everyone, and how this can be evidenced in practice. The session is aimed at staff in care homes for adults and older people, but anyone with an interest in the subject is welcome to attend.
