THIS SESSION IS FULL. The webinar will be recorded and available on our YouTube after the session for those who can't attend.

You are invited to register for our webinar on preventing and managing infection in childcare and education settings, and what this means in practice.

The webinar will include:

  • health protection teams - who they are, what they do and how they can help you
  • how to prevent and manage infection in childcare and education settings
  • a refresher on standard infection prevention and control in practice
  • a question and answer session.

We will be joined by Fiona Browning, Health Protection Nurse Specialist for NHS Grampian. We will be joined by other health protection team nurses for the question and answer session. Marie McKerry, Chief Nurse at the Care Inspectorate, will facilitate the webinar.

Date: Wednesday 29 January 2025

Time: 18:00-19:30

Infection prevention and control practice is underpinned by the Health protection in children and young people settings, including education guidance which was published by Public Health Scotland in March 2024. It would be helpful if you could take time to read the guidance before the webinar.

You can submit questions for our panel to answer during the webinar. Please use this form to submit questions by Wednesday 15 January 2025.

The webinar will be recorded and made available afterwards. We hope that you can join us.
