Safe staffing: Webinar series for ELC services

We are leading on a national programme to support care services to prepare for the enactment of the Health and Care (Staffing) (Scotland) Act 2019, in April 2024. 

Within the early learning and childcare (ELC) sector, the Act places duties on care service providers for daycare of children services and childminders. This webinar series will be relevant to anyone working in the ELC sector, such as staff, managers, and senior management teams.  

Childminding session: Wednesday 17 January 2024
18:30 – 19:30

This webinar is to support childminders, to introduce you to the Health and Care (Staffing)(Scotland) Act 2019, and describe parts of the Act applicable to your service. The webinar will focus on the guiding principles of the Act and the main principles from Part 1 of the Act. We will also focus on Part 3 of the Act and discuss consideration that should be given when delivering your service.

Session 1 - Daycare of children services: Wednesday 17 January
