The Care Inspectorate’s digital social care team are delighted to announce the following line-up of speakers for our first Digital Social Care webinar that will take place on Tuesday, 21 January 2025, between 10:00 and 11:00.
Mhor Collective: Digital Inclusion is everyone’s problem.
The Mhor Collective will discuss how Digital Inclusion impacts our communities, with a focus on health and social care. They will consider the importance of digital inclusion and its impact for social care and will explore what works and what we can all do to help support people take the first steps on their digital journey.
NES (NHS Education for Scotland)
Hilary Lowe from the Digitally Enabled Workforce Team will provide an overview of the free resources on offer to social care organisations to support the development of digital and data capabilities. This will include a look at the Digital and Data Capability Framework and guidance on how it can be adopted and embedded to help individuals. Hilary will also introduce a new self-assessment tool, designed to enhance use of the framework and provide staff with personalised learning recommendations.
The Scottish Government
The Scottish Government/COSLA will provide information about their Digital Maturity Assessment Survey which supports social care organisations in their continued adoption of digital ways of working. The survey seeks to increase knowledge of digital maturity in social care to gain a fuller understanding of the pressures and priorities for the wider integrated health and social care landscape.
