FUNdamental Play Training - Sticks and String

FUNdamental Play Training is an activity based training day for people who work with Early Years children in the outdoors.

At OutLET: Play Resource, we know that the best form of play is free-flow, child led, unadulterated play……… But we also know that sometimes children need you to SPARK their imagination…

Join us for a day in the woods for ‘FUNdamental Training Days’, where we will be taking play ‘back to basics’ by exploring outdoor activities that only require very basic resources.
Let’s see what we can do with…….
Sticks and String

One of the great things about this course is that once complete – you won’t have the big spend on new resources, or kit!

You can just get out there and PLAY!!

We will cover:
An introduction to Play and why it’s important!
Minimum of 12 activities with Sticks and String.
How this fits in the Curriculum for Excellence

With six hours contact time, this outdoor course can be delivered in various venues. We work to a ratio of 1:10 and will take a maximum of 20 people.

Christine has been a Forest School Leader for 8 years and has recently attained her ITC Level 3 Award in Education and Training, which is designed for people working in further education and skills sector.
